Speaking to the media after last night’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, the company’s President Tony Khan implied that we are going to see a women’s match main event Dynamite soon.
Tony Khan said that he has a “feeling” that a women’s match is going to main event an upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite, which basically means it’s going to happen as he’s the one booking the shows.
“Very soon. It’s going to happen. What if I told you it was going to happen incredibly soon, like in the next several weeks? I have a feeling that might happen.”
One of the only real criticisms that fans seem to have with AEW since the promotion’s launch has been the booking of the women’s division, with no women’s match main eventing Dynamite since the show’s launch in October 2019.
Speaking of the AEW women’s division, Tony Khan also explained during the media call why a popular member of the roster hasn’t been on Dynamite lately, which you can read more about by clicking here.
