This year we will see the first ever Women’s WarGames match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames III, and six of the participants have now been announced.
NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and NXT star Rhea Ripley appeared on “The Bump” to announce the members of Team Baszler and Team Ripley, and neither of them chose Roman Reigns.
Fighting in the heelish Baszler corner is Io Shirai and Bianca Belair, while Ripley has chosen the blue-eyed babyface duo of Candice LeRae and Tegan Nox.
It is expected that more people will be added to both teams, with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir expected to join Team Baszler, and Dakota Kai and possibly Mia Yim joining Team Ripley.
