Women’s Title Match Added To AEW: Fyter Fest

Tony Schiavone was interviewing Dr. Britt Baker during AEW: Dynamite. During the interview, Tony announces Hikaru Shida’s opponent for Fyter Fest.

It’s none other than Penelope Ford. Ford got the big pinfall last week in the tag team match. Ford has been looking good lately.

She’s been impressive and a stand-out in a lot of the matches. With Baker and Statlander out, now is the time for Ford to step up.

There’s no real storyline here, but when has there been in the AEW Women’s Division?  This match joins several other matches on the card.

• Cody vs. Jake Hager for the TNT Championship
• Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs. Best Friends for the AEW Tag Team Championship
• Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage for the AEW Championship

The tag team title match could be subject to change if Le Sex Gods can defeat Best Friends during Dynamite.

The show is set to take place over two weeks during AEW’s regular timeslots. It should be back to back quality shows.
