Women’s Wrestling Stars Praise Doudrop Following NXT Victory WWE

Doudrop has quietly become a workhorse for WWE since her main roster call up from NXT UK last year.

This was never more evident than the past three days, which saw both Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H wrestle on WWE television on three consecutive days; challenging Kayden Carter and Katana Chance for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at Worlds Collide on Sunday, coming up short against Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah on Monday, and then facing Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction on last night’s NXT show.

While Nikki and Doudrop have found themselves on the losing end of most matches this year, not winning an official WWE TV match since February 7, Doudrop managed to end her bad run of form, pinning Gigi Dolin on last night’s show.

SmackDown star Natalya took to Twitter after Doudrop’s victory, praising her for giving back to everyone with a great attitude, and praising NXT for giving her the moment to shine.

She tweeted:

I’ve watched @DoudropWWE giving back to everyone for a long time, with a smile on her face and a great attitude. It was cool to watch her shine tonight at @WWENXT. So many reasons I like watching NXT…

Former WWE and IMPACT star Gail Kim also joined in on the Doudrop praise, responding to Natalya by saying:

I adore her and she deserves all the success!

Former WWE star Eva Marie, who Doudrop was named by upon her main roster call up, also sung her praises, tweeting:

My girl @DoudropWWE is everything shine baby shine #WWENXT
