An AEW World Championship match has now been officially confirmed for the AEW Forbidden Door event in London.
Hangman Adam Page successfully rescued the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley and the Death Riders back at AEW All In Texas, when he submitted Moxley during the brutal Texas Death Match main event.
On the same night, MJF emerged victorious in a Casino Gauntlet match, earning him a future shot at the AEW World Championship.
However, MJF did not want to use his contract to face off against Hangman, with him looking to earn a title shot against Page without the use of the contract.
Hangman would continue to deny MJF’s chase for the title, with the two going face to face to kick off tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.
During the face to face, Hangman again denied MJF a shot, saying that he has a contract to earn a match, but he is a coward and won’t use it.
MJF would then snap at Hangman, saying he was executing his contract at Forbidden Door, before instantly regretting his decision.
Who was goading who, @The_MJF?
