WWE Confirms New Title Match For WrestleMania 35

WWE Confirms New Title Match For WrestleMania 35

UPDATE – WWE has now officially confirmed the match via Twitter:

Original post:

It was rumoured after a WWE.com exclusive a few days ago that Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins would be challenging The Revival for their Raw Tag Team Championships on “the grandest stage of them all”.

With WrestleMania 35 just four night away, however, WWE has yet to confirm that the Raw Tag Team Championships will even be defended on the show, nevermind who would be challenging the champions for them.

However, per the ever-reliable WrestleVotes, WWE might be planning to add the match to the card at some stage, as the programme for the “show of shows” promotes a Revival vs. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins championship match.

This comes after it was rumoured that not only would Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder be taking on the Revival for their tag titles, but that Hawkins would be winning, putting an end to his 200+ match losing streak.

WrestleTalk’s Liam Winnard will be providing live coverage for WrestleMania 35 on Sunday night where we might well be seeing the Raw Tag Team Championships defended. The main event of the show will see Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch make history as the first women to close WWE’s biggest pay-per-view of the year.
