Feels like the third time I’ve written this, but WWE has now finally confirmed that WrestleMania 36 will indeed be hosted by the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The stadium is Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL as well as the NCAA’s South Florida Bulls, and has a capacity of around 66,000.
“As first reported by the Tampa Bay Times, WrestleMania 36 will emanate from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fla., in April 2020.
“WWE will officially announce next year’s home of The Showcase of the Immortals today at 11 a.m. ET in a star-studded press conference, streaming live on WWE’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels.”
It has been known for a couple of weeks that Tampa was the likely location for next years show, but this is the first time WWE has confirmed these reports.
It will be the fourth time WrestleMania has been in Florida, having been hosted twice by Orlando and once by Miami.
