Following weeks of discussion regarding which match is set to headline tonight’s first night of WrestleMania 39 , we now have our answer.
Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between the Usos and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn is set to main event tonight’s show.
The decision had been between this match and the SmackDown Women’s Title match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley.
The belief in recent weeks was that WWE had actually been leaning towards Flair vs Ripley since there was no women’s main event on either night last year.
However, it looks like the choice is Usos vs Owens and Zayn unless things change.
