WrestleMania Card ‘In Complete Flux’ Following Shane McMahon Departure

The WWE departure of Shane McMahon has created a glaring issue to be solved for the WrestleMania 38 lineup.

Per WrestleVotes, a source states McMahon’s planned Mania match was positioned near the top of the card and now the company needs a new “major attraction” bout in its place.

The report states:

Source states the spot Shane McMahon was going to have on the WrestleMania card was to be positioned near the top. Therefore, WWE now needs a new “major attraction” matchup outside of the titles. This goes w/o saying, but the WM card is still in complete flux. It’s quite amazing.

This problem stems from Shane McMahon’s part in the backstage chaos at the Royal Rumble 2022 event.

As previously noted, Shane was described as “unprofessional”, made several failed pitches for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and got into a heated argument with his father Vince McMahon leading to his departure.

This now leaves the company with a hole to fill for the biggest show of the year.

We will have further updates on WWE’s plans for WrestleMania 38 when they become available.
