WrestleMania 35 Main Event Still A Triple-Threat

WrestleMania 35 Main Event Still A Triple-Threat

Becky Lynch received one of the loudest pops in WWE history when she won the women’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday (January 27), booking her slot at WrestleMania 35.

Fans of Raw were in for a treat when Becky appeared unannounced following Ronda’s Raw Women’s Championship open challenge victory over Bayley. Lynch proceeded to explain to Ronda that she would be challenging her at WrestleMania, where she would show the world that she is the Man in WWE.

This, understandably, made many assume that we are set for a one on one match between the pair at WrestleMania, but according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this isn’t the case.

The plan, as Meltzer explained, is still to have a triple threat match between Ronda, Becky and Charlotte Flair, although how they will get round to adding Charlotte is anyone’s guess.

He added that he knew there is a storyline in place to make Charlotte seem like a candidate to join the match, but that we would have to wait and see what that was as WWE are keeping their cards close to their chest.

It was reported last week that Ronda Rousey could leave WWE after WrestleMania this year, suggesting that she will not win at ‘Mania, most likely putting Lynch over in the process.

Although Ronda did not straight up deny these claims, she did tell fans to focus on something other than her future plans to have a family.
