It has now been nearly 13 years since wrestling lost one of its all-time great personalities and one of the most beloved men in the business, Eddie Guerrero.
Eddie would have celebrated his 51st birthday yesterday, something which the world of wrestling wasn’t likely to forget. Many wrestlers took to social media to express their gratitude to Eddie, wishing him a happy birthday.
Eddie’s widow Vicki, who will be returning to WWE TV on SmackDown 1000 next week, posted a heartfelt message on her Twitter.
Happy birthday Eddie! I know you are looking down from Heaven and living in God’s paradise! I know you are watching over our girls! They are doing amazing things in life and making you proud everyday! #eddie. #guerrero. #vivalaraza. #excuseme. #guardianangel. #loved. #missed pic.twitter.com/5JJcGjSl1O

Rey Mysterio, who coincidentally also makes his return to WWE at SmackDown 1000, also paid tribute to his friend.
Happy 51st Birthday Eddie……➕…… Would love to relive this picture moment NOW & wish you a happy Birthday in person! #MissYouSoMuchWeeWeeTo #InHeavenNow pic.twitter.com/2k4U1WGXwY

We at WrestleTalk would also like to extend our best wishes to the Guerrero family, and also to wish Eddie a happy birthday. We hope you’re lying, cheating and stealing with the best of them up there.
