WRESTLETALK SET TO ANNOUNCE MAJOR WRESTLEMANIA WEEKEND EVENT
Following on from the success of No Fans Monday – in which WrestleTalk teamed with Will Ospreay to present an empty arena show live on YouTube that generated thousands of pounds to help wrestlers who are unable to work due to the Covid-19 pandemic – we can exclusively reveal that a major announcement concerning WrestleMania Weekend is coming tomorrow.
WrestleTalk staff have been working non-stop behind the scenes to pull off what is sure to be the most ambitious multi-promotion collaboration in modern wrestling history.
WrestleTalk’s Oli Davis said of the project:
“We were so incredibly proud of WrestleTalk Showcase – No Fans Monday, and the amazing feedback it received from both fans and wrestlers across the global wrestling scene.
That has inspired us to attempt something even bigger in support of the many wrestlers and promotions who lost out on running shows over WrestleMania weekend – as well as the fans who were due to attend them live or watch them streamed.
Industry statement-wise, what we are announcing tomorrow will likely make No Fans Monday seem like a drop in the ocean by comparison. We are all really excited about it”.
