Reed is probably best known in WWE for being rumoured as the person who was being booked to defeat Ricky Steamboat to win the Intercontinental Championship in 1987, but this spot would eventually be given to The Honky Tonk man.

Everyone at WrestleTalk would like to extend their condolences to Butch’s family and friends at this time.
