It is with a heavy heart that we must report that wrestling legend King Kong Bundy, real name Christopher Alan Pallies, has passed away aged 61. No cause of death has been provided at this time.
The announcement of the passing was made by Bundy’s close personal friend, David Herro, on Facebook. The post reads:
“Today we lost a Legend and a man I consider family. Rest in Peace Chris. We love you. Thank you for believing in me.”
King Kong Bundy had a career that spanned over three decades, starting out in 1981 before finally retiring in 2007. The high point of his career came when he headlined WrestleMania 2 alongisde Hulk Hogan, fighting for the WWF Championship inside a steel cage.
