A wrestling legend says he wants to face Chris Jericho in All Elite Wrestling.
Chris Jericho has long been a cornerstone of the AEW roster due to his star power and legacy in the business.
With lengthy stints in WWE, WCW, ECW, NJPW and beyond, Jericho has faced many legends over the course of the past three decades.
One of his storied rivals would like the chance to face “The Ocho” one more time.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, wrestling legend Ultimo Dragon discussed his upcoming match for the Revolución de la Lucha Libre event in San Jose, California on October 22.
During the interview, the former WCW star noted that he would like to go one-on-one with Jericho if he made an appearance for AEW while in the United States.
In regards to his upcoming bout, Dragon said:
“It doesn’t matter where I am in the world, it is an honor every time I step in the ring. What makes it special are the venue, the fans and giving my everything to the crowd. When I stop feeling that way, that is the day when I will retire.”
When asked about the prospect of a bout against Chris Jericho, he answered:
“I am honestly not very familiar with AEW. But if I have the opportunity, I would really like to participate in one of their shows and end my rivalry with Jericho.”
Chris Jericho has faced another former WCW rival in Juventud Guerrera on AEW Dynamite last year.
As previously reported, AEW announced that Jericho has signed a three-year extension with the company this week.
