Triple H was trending on social media following the July 30 SummerSlam event, with the wrestling world thanking him for the memorable show.
SummerSlam was the first WWE premium live event following Triple H taking over WWE creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement.
The show kicked off with an unforgettable moment, with Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky (Io Shirai) making surprise appearances to confront Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair following their Raw Women’s Title match.
WWE fans praised Triple H following this segment, for bringing Kai back to WWE, and Sky to the main roster.
The rest of the show was definitely entertaining, headlined by an eventful Last Man Standing bout between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. During the bout, Lesnar used a tractor to tip the WWE ring in a spot many praised for its uniqueness.
Reigns ultimately defeated Lesnar and the show ended with The Bloodline celebrating on the ramp.
The wrestling world has since taken to Twitter to thank Triple H:
