After the title was retired and an over five-year run for the show, the WWE 205 Live series will be coming to an end.
PWInsider reports that WWE made the decision official earlier this week, but it has been in the works for some time.
The 205 Live series was originally made to showcase the Cruiserweight Division and debuted on November 29, 2016.
WWE are reportedly slated to debut a new series, NXT: Level Up. The first episode will be filmed before tonight’s Vengeance Day special of NXT 2.0.
The company hasn’t officially announced the end of WWE 205 Live yet.
The show was intended to be a touring brand, but plans were scrapped after one weekend of events. This is yet another Triple H concept that is being wiped off after the NXT rebrand.
WWE filed a trademark on the NXT: Level Up series on February 9, and Joe Gacy heavily teased the name change on last week’s 205 Live.
