There has been an update on the development of the upcoming WWE 2K25 video game, which is set to release early next year.
WWE Games has begun releasing their yearly titles in March beginning with WWE 2K22 back in 2022, with this year’s edition of the game releasing ahead of WrestleMania 40.
It was recently confirmed that the game is slated for a release in Q4 of fiscal 2025, which would fall any time before March 31, 2025.
In an update on the game’s development from PWInsider, work is well underway on the game, which includes motion capture work for the game.
It is not expected that any official information on the game will be released before the end of the year.
The final WWE 2K24 DLC pack officially released this week, adding a number of WCW legends to the game, including Diamond Dallas Page, The Great Muta and Mr. Perfect.
This year’s video game featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on the cover, with Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair appearing on the deluxe edition cover.
