WWE 2K25 Special Edition Announced, Cover Star Confirmed 2K Games

The Undertaker has been announced as one of the cover stars for the upcoming WWE 2K25 video game due for release later this year.

The reveal was made on the official WWE Games Twitter account, along with our first look at the Deadman Edition.

As can be seen below this news story, the image features The Undertaker against full moon against a dark sky along, with the tweet reading:

“The Deadman Rises… Again. ⚰️

“No one escapes the darkness when The Undertaker arrives. Rest in peace… or don’t. #WWE2K25”

The official WWE 2K website has promised an announcement is incoming for the upcoming game, stating:

“WWE 2K returns bigger, bolder, and better than ever in a breakthrough year for the franchise! WWE 2K25 is preparing to charge down the ramp with all the authenticity and action fans love from the best in sports entertainment.

“Discover game-changing features, iconic Superstars, and more details on January 28th, 2025.”

While fans of the franchise await details on which superstars will be in the game, a number have been confirmed through promotional materials and other announcements.

Roman Reigns also previously teased a WWE 2K25 announcement for January 27, 2025.

WWE 2K25 is set for release on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X & S and Windows PC (via Steam).

The Undertaker appeared on the WWE Raw Netflix premiere, celebrating Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship win and later revealing the scrapped plans for the January 6 2025 appearance.
