Take-Two Interactive have provided an update on the development of the WWE 2K26 video game.
On Friday, May 16 Take-Two held their quarterly earnings call, sharing updates on some of their biggest upcoming video game releases such as Grand Theft Auto VI, Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country.
Along with these already announced titles, Take-Two officially confirmed development of the next instalment in the WWE 2K series, revealing that WWE 2K26 is planned for release in fiscal year 2026, as would be expected.
The platforms that WWE 2K26 is planned to release on were not yet confirmed, with the series’ most recent game – WWE 2K25 releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
This wasn’t the only update on the series however, as Take-Two also confirmed once again that WWE 2K Mobile – which was announced earlier this year – is still set for a release on Netflix Games in the Fall of 2025.
This news comes on the same week that WWE 2K25’s first downloadable content pack hit digital stores on Playstation, Xbox and PC.
The ‘New Wave Pack’ features NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Motor City Machine Guns and a currently unknown celebrity guest character.
