According to a report by Heel by Nature, WWE has abandoned the attempt at trademarking “Brock Lesnar.” WWE filed for the trademark on January 9, 2020.
The US Patents and Trademark Office (USPTO) denied the request and required a signature from Brock Lesnar in order to accept the request. According to the report, the USPTO also had issues with some of the language in the filing.
The USPTO sent the notice to WWE on March 12, 2020. WWE had 6 months to respond to the request. However, WWE did not.

Now, the USPTO has officially denied the request. As such, the trademark filing is now considered abandoned.
WWE letting the Brock Lesnar trademark go is interesting because this means it may not be able to prevent other companies from using the name relating to wrestling or wrestling merchandise.
As such, WWE has pulled all Lesnar merch from WWE Shop. The pulling of his merch actually occurred a while back in August.
According to previous reports, Lesnar doesn’t seem to be in any rush to get back in a ring or MMA cage. We’ll keep you posted on all the latest in regards to WWE and Brock Lesnar here on WrestleTalk.com.
