WWE NXT star Tony D’Angelo has responded to light-hearted accusations from fans that his on-screen character is a “serial killer”.
With his mob boss persona, D’Angelo and his cohort Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo haven’t shied away from making their enemies “sleep with the fishes”.
The most recent example of this was last night (April 25) during Spring Breakin’, as D’Angelo and Lorenzo dealt with Pretty Deadly.
This looks to have been a way to write Pretty Deadly off NXT TV so they can debut on the main roster in the upcoming WWE Draft.
Previously, D’Angelo and Lorenzo had done the same to their former ally Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan (Cole Karter) to explain his disappearance after he was fired by WWE for failing a drug test.
After last night’s Pretty Deadly incident, a fan tweeted:
Tony D’Angelo is legitimately a serial killer and WWE just lets it happen
he literally has 3 murders under his belt
D’Angelo caught wind of this tweet, and replied:
Where’s the evidence? Nobody saw nothin.
NXT’s new lawyer character Luca Crusifino replied to D’Angelo with:
haven’t seen any sort of evidence
Take a look what happened and judge for yourself…
Business. Handled.
Now, #TheFamily has their sights set on taking over the rest of NXT 🤌@TonyDangeloWWE @Channing_WWE #NXTSpringBreakin' pic.twitter.com/13DoHug9CX
