Billie Kay vs. Lana
Also next week on SmackDown Live, a spot in the women’s Money in the Bank match will be up for grabs when Billie Kay of the IIconics squares of against the ‘Ravishing Russian’, Lana.
The other half of the IIconics, Peyton Royce, lost out in her qualifier a couple of weeks ago to the ‘Queen’, Charlotte Flair.
The pair made their WWE main roster debuts on the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 34, by attacking Flair and inadvertently allowing Carmella to cash-in her Money in the Bank contract from last year to become the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Lana hasn’t had a TV or pay-per-view match since WrestleMania 34, wherein she competed in the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal.
She returned to our screens a couple of weeks ago, however, seemingly reuniting with real-life husband Rusev.
With the ‘Lion of Bulgaria’ already qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, and Money in the Bank falling on Rusev Day, could we see the first ever married couple to hold simultaneous Money in the Bank contracts? Probably not. But maybe!
