WWE Star Addresses Missing Show In Hometown WWE

WWE star Angel (Angel Garza) has shared a message for his fans ahead of him missing an event in his hometown.

Ahead of WWE visiting Mexico, Berto (Humberto Carrillo) announced that he and his tag-team partner Angel were set to miss these international shows.

Angel has now taken to Twitter to share a GIF of himself shrugging, addressing his absence from Sunday’s (July 14) show in Monterrey.

Hopeful that he’ll compete at the next show in his hometown, Angel wrote:

Unfortunately today I am not in the #Supershow of my hometown MONTERREY but enjoy and I hope to see you next time 👊

(Translated from Spanish)

Angel will likely have another opportunity to compete on a Mexico WWE tour, with the star reportedly signing a new multi-year deal with WWE.

Saturday’s (July 13) house show in Mexico City was a notable one, with Stephanie Vaquer making her in-ring debut for WWE.

With Vaquer defeating Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn in singles action, there was some speculation that Vaquer was set to join the main roster.

Vaquer’s new WWE home brand has now been revealed, which you can read more about right here.
