And so it begins. Honestly I thought it might be a couple of weeks before this sort of thing started happening, but here we are just a few hours away from the start of AEW: Dynamite and subtle shots are already being fired.
Cable guides in the USA now list NXT as running from 8pm ET to 10pm ET on the USA Network, which is 15 minutes longer than the show usually is.
This was a common tactic used by WWE and WCW during the Monday Night Wars in the 1990s, and it seems that old habits die hard, as 20 years later the same tactics seem to be in play.
It must be noted that the USA Network website still has the show listed as 8pm to 10pm, so there is a small chance that the above image could be incorrect, but there’s every chance that the USA Network site has simply not updated yet.
If you’re not going to be watching NXT anyway and are instead wanting to watch AEW: Dynamite, you can do so by tuning into TNT at 8pm ET or TNS if you’re in Canada.
For the rest of the world, check out Fite TV where you can buy the live episode for $2.99 or subscribe to AEW+ for $4.99 a month to get all the episodes.
