WWE announced during SmackDown Live tonight that the Clash of Champions match between Erick Rowan and Roman Reigns will now be a no disqualifications match.
This stipulation is apropos as Rowan has destroyed Reigns repeatedly, so this offers up the opportunity for him to either do the same, or for Reigns to retaliate in kind, on Sunday.
Rowan revealed himself as Reigns’ attacker last week, and after doing so attacked his former friend and tag partner Daniel Bryan, saying that he takes orders from no-one.
Tonight on SmackDown he grabbed a hanging TV camera and launched it at Roman to take him down at the top of the stage.
It’ll be interesting to see how the no DQ stip affects this match. Could it mean Daniel Bryan gets involved and helps Roman? Or even reveals he’s been in on it with Rowan this whole time?
We’ve got live coverage of WWE Clash of Champions here at WrestleTalk.com this coming Sunday.
