WWE Adds Rather Interesting Stipulation To Big Raw Match

WWE Adds Rather Interesting Stipulation To Big Raw Match

After all winning singles matches last week, WWE announced that Riddle, AJ Styles and Keith Lee will compete in a three-way match on Raw tonight, with the winner going on to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at TLC.

That spot was reportedly going to go to another major WWE Raw, but he has since been injured and has subsequently been pulled from the show, a story that you can read more about by clicking here.

WWE has taken to social media over the weekend to add a rather interesting, albeit slightly confusing, stipulation to the big triple threat match on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Taking to Twitter, WWE announced that the three-way match between AJ Styles, Riddle and Keith Lee which will likely main event the show tonight will be fought under Sudden Death rules.

What makes this slightly confusing is that Sudden Death rules imply that the match is only over when one competitor has more falls than the other, which is basically the rules of any other standard triple threat match that we have seen.

This could just be a way for WWE to try and make the triple threat match tonight sound more interesting, as if the fact that three of the company’s very best in-ring workers sharing the ring isn’t enough to get people invested.
