Bray Wyatt is back, and he could well be bringing with him a very large faction, and this faction might not include a giant pig.
The Wyatt 6 has been on the lips of many fans, and several wrestlers have teased potentially joining the faction, including NXT stars like Joe Gacy, Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez.
Someone who it appears WWE did want for the group is AEW star Malakai Black, formerly Aleister Black in WWE.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed there was talk, presumably in WWE, of bringing Black in to join the returning Wyatt.
Dave wrote:
Others internally have said some of those are believed to be accurate but said things are up in the air, mentioning others could be part of it, mentioning The Dyad in particular are possible, and other names listed are not sure things. While obviously this won’t happen, there was talk of Aleister Black for this group.
WWE had even included a line from Black’s theme song as one of the QR code clues during the White Rabbit teases before Wyatt returned.
Malakai Black is currently on a leave of absence from AEW, something he announced at the same time as he confirmed he had indeed requested his AEW release.
Unfortunately for Black, the reports are that Tony Khan has no intention of releasing anyone at this moment in time, and he will therefore likely be returning to AEW TV in the near future.
