Another Former WWE Star Debuts For AEW

Making their AEW debuts in separate matches were former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn and former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Mark Andrews.

Dawn, who had previously shared her thoughts on her release, departed WWE back in February.

Andrews was released by WWE in August 2022, following a run which saw him hold the NXT UK Tag Team Championship with Flash Morgan Webster.

Neither former WWE star was successful in their AEW debuts, with Dawn losing to Megan Bayne, and Andrews coming up short against Big Bill.

The commentary team consisted of Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness, and Ian Riccaboni.
