WWE Show To Run Head To Head With AEW Dynamite Episode WWE

An upcoming WWE vs AEW head-to-head appears to have been revealed, with an upcoming edition of NXT moving to a Wednesday night.

NXT and AEW Dynamite have already clashed during the WWE brand’s new run on CW, with there being some overlap between the two shows on October 8.

Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the US Election week edition of NXT is believed to be set for Wednesday, November 6, one day after the election.

Noting that this is expected to be the NXT taping at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Meltzer wrote:

WWE has a date booked for the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. While not confirmed, the belief is that it will be on 11/6, which would be the NXT TV tapings on a Wednesday, the day after the election. The fact there will be a show has been confirmed by many, just not the date.

NXT will be on the unfamiliar night and I presume they’ll loaded up going head-to-head with AEW.

It makes sense the idea of NXT from the ECW Arena for the first time will get enough buzz to help grow the audience in the attempt to beat AEW

This would mean that NXT would clash with the AEW Dynamite show set to take place in Manchester, NH.

A lot has changed surrounding the NXT brand following its CW debut on October 1, with the show given a new presentation, and the likes of Stephanie Vaquer making their debut.
