A number of WWE stars have now reacted to former AEW star Ethan Page joining the company, following his surprise debut on NXT.
Page appeared in the closing moments of Tuesday’s (May 28) edition of NXT, attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams.
It has now been confirmed that Ethan Page has officially signed with WWE, with Page joining the company “over the last few days”.
Several WWE names have now taken to Twitter to comment on this addition to the roster, with former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill initially tweeting:
Let’s f**king goooo @OfficialEGO!!! 🔥🔥
She quickly apologised to Trick Williams for celebrating this attack, writing:
Sorry@_trickwilliams. I didn’t mean that. 😅
Shawn Spears, who also made a surprise WWE appearance earlier this year following his AEW run, shared a GIF of Willem Dafoe, writing:
I like him. @OfficialEGO @WWENXT @WWE #wwenxt
Believing that Page is going to have fun when searching his own name on social media today, Dijak tweeted:
That @OfficialEGO Bro took out Oro, Noam, and Trick
😍😍😍vanity searching gonna hit different tonight!
Jakara Jackson doesn’t seem to be as enthusiastic about Page’s debut, following the ex-AEW star admitting that he previously attacked Noam Dar and Oro Mensah, writing:
