Two competitors, wrestling for WWE and AEW respectively, have publicly announced that they’re calling off their engagement and relationship.
Former Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley and her fiancé Aaron Solow have announced their break-up on Twitter. The duo revealed they had made the difficult decision to end their relationship, but will remain friends.
Solow took to Twitter to make the announcement. Asking fans to respect their privacy, Solow tweeted this statement:
“This has been an extremely difficult decision to make.
Pam (Bayley) and I have come to the realization that we have a completely different idea of what we want our future to look like, because of this we feel that it would be in our best interests to call off our engagement and end our relationship.
We have a lot of great memories together that we’ll forever cherish. We’ve agreed to remain friends and will continue to support each other in our careers and lives.
We ask that you please respect our privacy on this matter.”
Bayley and Solow met through wrestling training, getting engaged in 2016.
Solow has recently been doing well on AEW Dark, joining The Nightmare Family at the beginning of the month.
WrestleTalk wishes both Bayley and Aaron Solow the best in their respective futures.
