WWE Announces Show Running Head To Head With AEW Pay-Per-View WWE

WWE has now announced a show which will clash with an upcoming AEW pay-per-view which will take place in the same city.

The last AEW pay-per-view set to air this year is Worlds End 2024, which will take place on December 28 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

WWE has now confirmed that the company will host a live event of their own on December 28, also in Orlando, Florida.

During Friday’s (August 17) SmackDown taping, WWE announced that a live event in their Holiday Tour will emanate from the Kia Center on this date.

This means that WWE and AEW’s December 28 events will be just 20 minutes away from one another.

These two shows will have completely different feels, with Worlds End being a major AEW show which will air on pay-per-view.

WWE’s event will be a more low-key affair in comparison, with it being an untelevised house show during the annual holiday season tour which always begins on December 26.

While international viewers won’t have the option to watch WWE’s show, Floridian fans will have to choose which show they’ll attend.

Both WWE and AEW are currently preparing for premium live events/pay-per-view events in Europe, with AEW All In London slated for August 25, and Bash In Berlin set to take place on August 31.
