You know what, I reckon WWE might be upset with former Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi and Sasha Banks after the pair walked out of WWE Raw last week, leaving their title belts on the desk of John Laurinaitis.
Reports regarding the reason for their walk-out have varied from anger at booking decisions, to contracts expiring soon, but it’s safe to say only Sasha and Naomi really know the full reasons behind their decision.
Since the walk-out, WWE has made sure to bury the two women as often as possible, both in statements posted to social media, and during live shows on commentary.
The latest example of this came during last night’s episode of WWE Raw (May 23), with commentator Corey Graves saying:
“Last week it was the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and the then Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha and Naomi would leave during the broadcast of Monday Night Raw. Walk out of the arena during the show and Nikki ASH and Doudrop were actually scheduled to be part of the six-pack challenge main event. Sasha Banks and Naomi would relinquish their Championships and disappointed the WWE Universe in the process.”
There is no word as to when or even if the two stars will return to TV, but as of right now they are both suspended indefinitely. Neither has been released, but many others have been this year, so check out all the WWE releases of 2022 right here.
We will continue to bring you all the latest news as it breaks.
