A WWE star has shared his honest thoughts on fans getting tattoos dedicated to him, including some of his personal ones.
Aleister Black, himself recognizable from the many tattoos that adorn his skin, shared his response to fans who get artwork themed around the WWE star on their own bodies.
Speaking to Tattoo Life, Black noted that he includes many of the works of art that adorn the skin of his fans on social media, saying:
“If you go to my Instagram page you will see a story button that reads “Devotion.” There are countless fans who have the House Of Black logo, masks, Aleister Black-related tattoos, or some of the phrases on their skin.”
Black would then reveal that he is ‘incredibly humbled’ by fans who show devote themselves in this way, although he would note a less settling aspect of such tributes, stating:
“I am always incredibly humbled when fans send them to me; I will always try and collect as many of them to share, because that level of devotion speaks to the hardcore fans that my business is known for.
“On a side note, I have also seen and met fans that tattooed my personal tattoos on themselves and that, personally, is a little weird at times. While the intention is undoubtedly positive, I have seen a few trying to tattoo the Lilith back tattoo on their arms or chest, and it loses a lot of details as it’s not designed for a small area or that area specifically.
“I’ve also seen my heart-throat tattoo and even a few tattoos that I got done for relatives and friends that have passed away on some fans.”
Black has previously been seen with his real-life wife on WWE television and has addressed Zelina Vega changing her character due to their on-screen relationship.
