After Alexa Bliss’ absence from WWE TV, a new update has provided an update on plans.
She was last wrestled at January’s Royal Rumble, challenging Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship.
Bliss has revealed that during her absence, she has appeared as a contestant on the Masked Singer, and has had skin cancer treatment.
Dave Meltzer has written about Alexa Bliss’ WrestleMania weekend plans in the new Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), reporting:
“Bliss is scheduled to be in Los Angeles for Mania. Whether she’s just part of activities there or does an appearance on the show is unknown.
“At one point she was scheduled to be part of the segment with Wyatt and Uncle Howdy but that was well back and Wyatt’s situation has changed since then.”
Bliss had stated that she was, indeed, set to be in LA for WrestleMania weekend, though would only say “you never know what’s going to happen” as to her reason for being there.
She would also respond to being left out of the Women’s History Month graphic that was posted by WWE.
Plans for Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania had also changed when it was revealed that Wyatt has been kept out of action due to an illness.
His previously scheduled opponent, Bobby Lashley, is due to feature in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale and recently spoke about the plans in an interview with Denise Salcedo.
