NXT star Tony D’Angelo has teased an alliance with Raw star Dominik Mysterio, noting that he wants to meet up following his arrest.
Tony D’Angelo was ‘locked up’ in storyline on the May 23 edition of NXT, with it hinted that there was an informant within the D’Angelo mobster family.
One star who knows exactly how it feels to be locked up (for a few hours) is Dominik Mysterio, who was taken into custody on Christmas Eve after harrassing Rey Mysterio.
Reaching out to D’Angelo, ‘ex-con Dom’ offered a message of support, taking to Twitter to remind him that only the strong survive.
D’Angelo now wants to speak with Mysterio in person, with his Twitter account sharing the following:
@DomMysterio35 Tony wants to meet when he’s out.
The official NXT Twitter account shared this message, fuelling speculation about this potential tandem.
Dominik Mysterio has somewhat turned his life around since his arrest.
While he was unable to defeat Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39, he has supported Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley throughout her reign with the gold.
Dominik will face off against Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank 2023.
