WWE may already be making a change to their presentation of (Tommaso) Ciampa on the WWE main roster.
UPDATE: After this story was posted, Ciampa appeared on Raw and again attacked Mustafa Ali, suggesting his working babyface on Main Event was just a one-off.
On last week’s (April 25) episode of Raw, Ciampa attacked the returning Mustafa Ali, seemingly cementing that he would be positioned as a heel on the Raw brand going forward.
However, prior to this week’s episode of Raw, Ciampa was once again working as a babyface in a match against Apollo Crews.
Ciampa’s disposition isn’t the only thing to change on the main roster, as he recently had his name shortened to simply ‘Ciampa’. For a list of all WWE name changes in 2022 so far, click here.
