WWE Amazingly Forgets To Update Cody Rhodes Profile, Still Stardust WWE

While Cody Rhodes may have made his triumphant return to WWE on WrestleMania Saturday, apparently someone had neglected to change his official WWE roster page.

Update: A little while after this story was posted, they’ve now updated it. Yay!

While Cody’s picture on the WWE Superstars page has been updated to present-day Cody, if you click the profile itself you’re taken to a clearly old version that still features graphics and a biography for Stardust.

Never fear Cody fans, it is unlikely the flub was personal; the page still lists Cesaro as an active member of the WWE roster as well. Still, given the months of speculation and constant wrestling media scrutiny of this singular issue, a draft of a new biography may have been appropriate…

Rhodes was revealed as Vince McMahon’s chosen opponent for Seth Rollins on WrestleMania Saturday, going on to put on an intense match that saw Rhodes come out on top, landing three Cross Rhodes on Rollins to pick up the hard-fought pinfall victory.

Cody Rhodes departed All Elite Wrestling, leaving his role as both performer and EVP to return to WWE after failing to come to terms on a contractual agreement to continue with the company he had been with since its inception.

This evening, Cody’s PR team released a statement confirming that “the most sought-after free agent in professional wrestling” had signed with WWE to a multi-year deal.

No word on the contractual status of Stardust.
