WWE Changes Announcement After Incorrect Star Listed For Match

WWE Changes Announcement After Incorrect Star Listed For Match WWE

Ahead of the July 2 edition of WWE NXT, the company has changed the announcement after an incorrect star listed for an upcoming match.

In recent weeks, Gallus have found themselves at odds with the newest NXT tag team, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

The two rival teams are now set for a matchup on the July 2 episode of NXT. However, there was an error made by the company beforehand.

On July 2, Joe Coffey took to social media to post a video and reveal that WWE listed the wrong members of Gallus for tonight’s contest.

Originally, WWE’s graphic listed the match as Dupont and Igwe against Gallus members Wolfgang and Joe Coffey, with Mark Coffey not on the graphic.

However, Joe issued a correction and noted it will be Mark in the match teaming with Wolfgang, not Joe. He wrote:

It’s not Me btw.
It’s

Poor show you from you.

Usual from the usual.

Anyway. Send these rocket space cadets into orbit. GBOT.

This led to WWE making the change and replacing Joe Coffey for Mark Coffey in the matchup graphic on their social media. The post has been updated to feature Wolfgang and Mark in the match with Joe in their corner, and reads:

.@_Tysonwwe_ & @TyriekIgwe_WWE look to send a message to Gallus when the two teams battle it out TONIGHT on #WWENXT!

Also announced for tonight’s show, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page and Shawn Spears will sign the contract for their NXT Championship Match at WWE NXT Heatwave.
