WWE Announces NXT Takeover WarGames

With no Takeover event taking place the weekend of Survivor Series, some fans were wondering if we would see a WarGames match this year. Now, we know that we will.

During tonight’s edition of NXT, Shotzi Blackheart announced the next Takeover event. NXT Takeover WarGames is scheduled to take place on December 6 and will be the final major event of the year for NXT.

The show was announced by Shotzi Blackheart in a vignette. During the vignette, she told Candice LeRae to find an army because they are going to war. This would lead one to believe that these two will lead their own teams inside the double-cage.

Later in the show, LeRae and Indi Hartwell assisted Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez as they fought off Toni Storm and Ember Moon. Depending on what happens in the coming weeks, these women could all find themselves facing off inside the cage.

Last year’s event saw the first ever women’s WarGames match where Rhea Ripley’s babyface-led team defeated Shayna Baszler’s team. LeRae was part of the winning team meaning she would have the experience factor in this match.
