WWE Announces Two New Matches For TLC 2018

WWE has just announced two new matches for the December 16 TLC 2018 pay-per-view in Finn Bálor vs. Drew McIntyre and Elias vs. Bobby Lashley.

The main angle throughout the last couple of episodes of Raw has been Baron Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley unfairly tearing through their opponents both during and after their matches in an attempt to… prove a point, I guess.

Nonetheless, Elias and Lashley have had their own little feud for a few weeks now, which has largely been based around Elias calling Lashley’s manager Lio Rush a child. Lashley defeated Elias last week on Raw in a no DQ match, during which the former Drifter was attacked by Corbin and McIntyre.

Also last week, a Baron Corbin vs. Finn Bálor main event was restarted by GM-elect Corbin as a two-on-one handicap bout, with McIntyre joining him in decimating the helpless Irishman.

Corbin is currently scheduled to face Braun Strowman – who the heel trio also attacked to write off TV – in a TLC match, but with Strowman’s recent elbow surgery, it remains unclear as to whether he will be cleared for the final pay-per-view of the year.

WrestleVotes previously reported that the Corbin vs. Strowman match will become a multi-man match, with many assuming Corbin, Drew, Lashley, Finn and Elias will all be involved, so it is very possible we could see these two new matches merge together in some way or another between now and December 16.
