A new report has provided an update on WWE’s annual post-Christmas show from Madison Square Garden in New York.
WWE traditionally holds their post-Christmas house show from Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, the company recently announced that they will be visiting the New York area for the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14 from Long Island.
Despite this announcement, the show reportedly did not affect the WWE’s plans to visit the New York area again for the yearly post-Christmas event from MSG.
PWInsider provided an update, noting that the December 26 event from Madison Square Garden was not announced as part of the press release for their holiday events.
This is apparently by design as the MSG show is still on the books for the promotion at the time of this writing.
However, WWE does still have their upcoming Friday Night SmackDown TV taping from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and the December 14 Saturday Night’s Main Event from Long Island special, so they are currently focusing on those events.
The report indicates that the company still eventually announce the MSG show for post-Christmas, so the tradition is not ending this year.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on the post-Christmas WWE MSG show when they become available.
