Absent WWE Star Provides Injury Update After Four Months Away WWE

A WWE star sidelined through injury since January 2025 has provided an update on their rehabilitation and recovery.

Apollo Crews was last seen in the ring on the January 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Johnny Gargano.

The victory didn’t come without issue, however, with Crews suffering an injury to his shoulder and pec, according to a subsequent report.

Crews would later confirm that he had actually torn his pec during the match, stating that he had undergone surgery.

With surgery having taken place in February, Crews has now provided an update on his rehabilitation.

In a post shared on his Instagram account, Crews stated that he was feeling good during rehab, but was taking it on a day-to-day basis, writing:

“Been crushin the rehab. Feeling good. I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened.

“I’m over that hump now. Just waking up taking it day by day and putting in the work. 👊🏿”

The post would be accompanied by two short videos of Crews lifting weights in the gym and a photo showing the surgery scar, all of which can be seen here.

At the time of writing, it isn’t known when Crews is set to be cleared for an in-ring return.

WrestleTalk wishes Apollo Crews well in his rehabilitation and return journey.
