WWE Raw star Natalya has opened up about her recent match against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.

Following Ripley getting the better of Natalya at Night of Champions and on the June 19 edition of Raw, the duo had a more competitive match on the July 3 episode.

While Ripley ultimately retained her title, Natalya earned the respect of many fans, both in the arena, and online.

Natalya has now taken to Twitter to note that she viewed that match as an apology to herself for putting up with more than she deserved to.

Opening up about her performance, Natalya wrote:

Tonight was personal. It was an apology to myself for putting up with what I didn’t deserve.

Thank you so much to everyone who still believes in me, even when I didn’t always believe in myself. It truly means the world to me.

Sometimes people forget, until I get the chance to remind them. I was made in The Dungeon. I can take anyone to their limit on any night, because that’s what top level competitors do.

Now line up the rest and let me loose on them too.
