WWE Asked Recently Released Star To Use His House To Film Recent SmackDown Segment

Mandy Rose and Otis may be an entertaining and loveable act, but the segment that took place between them on the 05/29 episode of Friday Night SmackDown might have been one of the weirdest things I’ve ever watched.

Seriously, if you haven’t seen the segment between Mr. Money in the Bank and his “peach”, then definitely check it out below.

Well it has emerged that WWE upset a former Raw Tag Team Champion that they only released a few months ago by asking him if they could use his pool to film the head-scratching vignette.

Speaking on his podcast, Zack Ryder revealed that WWE higher-ups text his fiancee and current NXT star Chelsea Green to ask if they could use their pool for the segment. Ryder was annoyed not only that WWE asked to use their pool, but that they went through his wife instead of him:

“I’m sitting by the pool with Chelsea and she has a weird look on her face, checking her phone, and I’m like, ‘Babe, what’s up?’ She’s like, ‘Someone from WWE asked me if Otis and Mandy Rose and a camera crew can come here to film a pool scene for SmackDown.’ I was shaking in anger. You fired me, but you wanna use my pool?

“I was pissed. They didn’t ask me, they asked her! I guess they were taping Raw and SmackDown at the Performance Center. My good friends Morrison and Miz said they were coming over and texted me and said, ‘Can I bring Otis?’ I thought it was a rib because they knew the story. That pissed me off too. But Otis showed up and it wasn’t a rib. I don’t know Otis, though I wrestled him, this guy is pure entertainment. I fell in love with this man,”

This is like breaking up with a boy or girl and then messaging them a few weeks later asking if you can still use their Netflix account. Not cool.
