WWE Star Credits John Cena For ‘Special Moment’

John Cena still makes occasional appearances on WWE television though has successfully transitioned into a TV and movie star.

He was an idol to one particular WWE star who is currently living out his dream every week.

Speaking to City News Ottawa, Austin Theory reflected on the moment he got to work with his idol on WWE Raw:

“That was a huge moment for me actually because that was the first time that I have done anything on screen with John and for it to be a promo was pretty special and not just a walk by, it was a confrontation and just getting to have that two minutes with him, it meant a lot to me.”

With Theory being enthusiastic about facing John Cena in a dream match, Cena had also added fuel to the fire on social media.

Following his appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Theory had some choice words to say about Cena, describing himself as “better than” the Boston native.

Cena may have his pick of opponents for his WWE return, however, with Logan Paul recently suggesting he’d like a match against him and Cena responding to this challenge.

Theory recently cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in a much-criticized move, something that Triple H would note in the post-Survivor Series press conference.

He would go on to capture the US Championship at WWE Survivor Series in his match against Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins.
