Former WWE Star Opening European Wrestling School WWE

A former WWE star is opening a wrestling school in Europe and offering free trial training sessions as part of the launch.

For future wrestlers (or wrestlers who are looking for a new school) lucky enough to be within travelling distance of Dresden, Germany, Axel Tischer is opening Sport Center Dresden.

The former Alexander Wolfe will head the school that is set to open its doors in June 2023.

Sharing news of the opening on Instagram, Tischer wrote (translated using Google Translate):

“The Pro Wrestling School in Dresden offers professional wrestling training for everyone who has always wanted to train in a wrestling ring, who would like to compete in a wrestling match in front of spectators and for those who are already active in the ring and want to improve their skills.”

Contact details are on the Instagram post itself, with Sport Center Dresden having a website that can be found here.

Joining Tischer as coaches at the school are Franz Engel, an eleven-year veteran that also wrestled under the name ZERO, and Laurance Roman, a ten-year veteran and wXw Shotgun Champion.

Both coaches were trained by Tischer.

Axel Tischer was a member of Sanity and Imperium during his time in WWE having joined the company in April 2015.

He was released from his WWE contract in May 2021 and has since returned to the independent circuit.

Tischer had previously discussed plans to open a wrestling school in Dresden with WrestleTalk.

Recently, he has described how some members of the WWE NXT roster were “afraid” of being called up to the main roster.

It was a busy weekend for WWE with Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27 and NXT Battleground taking place on Sunday, May 28.

Full results from WWE NXT Battleground 2023 were as follows:
