Popular Star Says Rivalry Is Not Over After WWE Backlash 2023

Popular Star Says Rivalry Is Not Over After WWE Backlash 2023 WWE

Popular star IYO SKY commented on her loss at WWE Backlash premium live event in a passionate Japanese promo segment.

At the May 6 show, SKY unsuccessfully challenged for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship.

Despite Belair being on the cusp of a history-making reign, the San Juan, Puerto Rico crowd got behind SKY, cheering for the Damage CTRL star.

Following the bout, SKY cut a promo in Japanese during an interview segment.

Noting that the rivalry is not over, SKY said:

“Hey, you saw that? You saw that, didn’t you? The fans wanted me to win more than Bianca. The WWE Universe wanted IYO SKY to win!

“That’s one. At the end, some stuff happened with Bianca, Bayley, like… stuff happened!

“But anyhow, everyone in Puerto Rico believed I would win.

“And Bianca is on SmackDown, and we, Damage CTRL, are also on SmackDown. That means it’s still not over!

“Bianca! The next time, I’ll make everyone know that IYO SKY is the worthy champion.”
