WWE Backstage Change Made To SmackDown Bloodline Segments

WWE Backstage Change Made To SmackDown Bloodline Segments WWE

A new report has revealed a backstage change to The Bloodline segment on last night’s WWE SmackDown in San Diego, CA (January 17).

Fans inside the Pechanga Arena for last night’s show were advertised the return of Solo Sikoa following his loss to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat on the WWE Raw Netflix premiere (January 6).

While Sikoa did indeed return on the show, he would not address the loss, The Bloodline’s future plans, or anything at all as he exited the ring soon after appearing.

This left Jacob Fatu to take up the responsibility to address the crowd, in which he warned that fans that they “haven’t seen anything” from him yet, before LA Knight and Braun Strowman interrupted.

While Fatu’s prominent role in the segment may be the sign of changes to come for The Bloodline, Fightful Select have reported a change to the backstage producer of last night’s segment also.

Typically all Bloodline segments are produced by Michael Hayes, however, according to Fightful it was instead Jamie Noble handling all Bloodline related stories on the show.

Hayes was reportedly not listed as a producer for any segments on the show, so it seems likely that he was absent and this was a temporary change. However, we will provide updates if any future changes are made.

During SmackDown it was announced that Jacob Fatu will be facing off with Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25, with Tama Tonga also taking on LA Knight on SmackDown the night before.
